Windows Phone 7's release in Australia is imminent. Yes, I predicted it would fail, so now I have to watch closely to see if I have to admit I'm wrong!
Some disclosure first - at my work, we will be testing a couple of handsets regardless. We like to keep on top of what's in the market, especially since we have to field inquiries from users. I will indeed be testing one myself, so I won't be isolating myself from the release. Hell, with Old Spice Guy doing the Telstra launch, I kinda wish I was going - but that's just because of his aura of awesomeness.
Now, to the point of this post.
I have seen a reasonable level of buzz about Windows Phone 7 in my Twitter feed, without following the #wp7au hashtag. This doesn't necessarily tell me who's going to buy it. So I thought I'd do something different. I could, in fact, embed a survey into this post to get an idea. But that's a very static and non-interactive way to survey people. Let's do it the "SOCIAL MEDIA WAY" ...
